Safari can be yours!

Edey & Duff Stonehorse hull #3

Safari is a great example of the timeless pocket cruiser and daysailer built in fiberglass by Edey & Duff. Well mannered under sail and easily handled by one she has given me some great memories of summers in New England. However I am in the process of buying a house, getting married, etc. That and my boating needs have changed. It has been a lot of fun sailing her, and being who I am the project has been a blast. I hope I can find someone to take her the last bit of the way and really enjoy using her.

Updates include
-New Wiring through out
-dual battery system, on-off-both switch
-12v breaker and distribution panel
-LED lighting
-LED blue cockpit lights
-New 16 pound bruce with 10 ft of chain connected to 150ft of rode
-New stainless anchor roller and chain stop
-New anchor hawse pipe
-New standard horizon VHF
-New standing rigging in 06, tanbark sails in 07
-Evinrude longshaft outboard with new external fuel tank, will have annual service before sale.

The projects I had scheduled for this spring are:
-Exterior bright work
-Hull painting, minor painting in cockpit
-minor tidying up of wiring
-minor glass work and painting of bilge area under cockpit hatch. I had opened this up to better fit a cooler.

Once the above work is completed the price will be going up. If you would like only some of it done for a price we can discuss that.
