Life is harder when you’re dumb

Well three weeks of newly engaged bliss led to hard good bye this morning for both of us. By far the worst part of the job is the good byes. I did however get three weeks to study for my test and enjoy being with my now fiancé. However this brings me to the title of this post. Maybe a little too much bliss and studying was done, as I didn’t realize my flight was booked for tomorrow, instead of today like it needed to be. Imagine my surprise at the airport this morning!
However my string of good fortune and mojo, luck, karma, etc held. I was able to change to a flight at the counter and even thought it was going to be expensive I do have to go to work. Then an angel named meg gave me an early Christmas gift, and waived the change fees, and got me all lined up for a flight. I am going to do everything I can to pay it forward this month, that is right after I find some wood to go knock on!

wow, may I quote the title of this entry? 🙂 it looks like you had a very busy three weeks – no wonder you had a small date issue.. your story does a lot to bolster one’s faith in humanity.. Meg was a sweetie to waive the fee.. your fiance was a sweetie to say yes… and you get to work aboard a ship ( something I may never get to do ) life is good! be safe.. best wishes to you and your future bride.
