What is this day watch you speak of?

As the sun sets on national random drug test day (I wish), the deckhands are securing a deck full of cargo and I am totaling cargo amounts. We are loaded to the gills on deck for both of our clients drilling rigs and have fluids in both below deck systems for either one.
If the title didn’t tip you off I am back on the day watch, which is a great change of pace. You definitely feel much more like a normal human being on this watch, and I get to change up the sunrise photos with some sunset ones.
In news on the home front I have made arrangements to move my new Edey & Duff Stonehorse (name withheld for security reason’s ) to the yacht yard my father runs and have ordered a few upgrades for it. I am redoing the electric system into a proper arrangement with a battery box and integrated breaker panel, and replacing the lighting with LED’s. I am also installing some light blue cockpit accent lights for those nights on the mooring enjoying a drink with friends. You all can expect lots of posts about my adventures in sailboat ownership and the path to making my Stonehorse “just so”. I’ve got the work list written up and look forward to tackling it.
For now though, my attention is on a much bigger orange boat, and very different adventures.

Summer 2013 here I come
