Still messing about in boats

Today the little lady and I took a trip to Newport so I could pick up a new kayak, and then we could be summer tourists and have a nice day in town. What was the grand finale though was a sunset sail on one of the 12m’s owned by America’s Cup Charters , and I have to say it was definitely one of the better dates I’ve ever been on! The crew was great and the whole sail was a blast. We headed out onto the bay with a good breeze and the classic views of Newport were magnified by the setting sun. We even got this great candid shot of me grinding for the headsail trimmer.
