Photo of the week 6/25/12

I was cruising yacht world last night and found this beauty for sale, 26′ Mackenzie and the only original parts are the stem and keel.

    Not being a fisherman I’ve often wondered, why on those bass boats do they have that tiller back aft as well as a regular steering station?
    Nice looking boat BTW…

    • The aft station allowed a guide to fish and drive the boat at the same time.

        The first few builthad no windshields or front steering stations at all they just had the aft station and a tiny spray combing on the bow, theres a picture of them in the woodenboat magazine article write up of the boat
