Tetra Hedron, BFC!

Another “great boat” that isn’t really a boat and does offshore heavy lift. This is the derrick barge “Tetra Hedron” and it can lift a mere 1600 metric tons. Got this picture as we turned into slip a flotation, though I could see this beast from all the way at the end of the haliburton slip.

For a full list of specs and drawings see Tetra Technologies website here

Can anyone guess what what the BFC in the title stands for?

Great blog, I’ve seen this monster in Fourchon a few times myself. The picture does no justice to how massive it is lol
