First paddle of the year

One part of my maritime life that you, my readers, haven’t seen is sea kayaking. I’ve been paddling since I was 8, and continue to mess about in small boats as much as I can. Today I went over to Fairhaven and launched at the public boat ramp by lindberg’s dock. Me and my friend Nick (owner Coastal Kayak Educators) paddled along the Fairhaven side out to and through the dyke, messed around in front of fort Phoenix for a while and headed back. Even took a couple photos.
