Just received a new Grundens Gage series jacket. I ordered it online while here at work because despite being in the south we have had some cold nights that I was very unprepared for. So far it has definitely met my expectations as a water resistant jacket that wears like a nice fleece, it even has a good bit of stretch in the shoulders and arms. All the zippers function smoothly and have a nice solid feel, and look with their waterproof seams. There are two side pockets, a left breast pocket as well as two interior chest pockets, all with zipper. The cuff feature Velcro closures and the jacket is rounded off with a hood, that is just the right size for my large head, which is adjustable in two dimensions. (the hood not my head) All and all I am extremely pleased with the jacket especially for its modest price of $86 plus tax and shipping. Pictures coming tomorrow.
