Great Boats……………

There are certain boats that evoke a certain visceral reaction among people. Sometimes it us just the way her sheer springs, her motion in a sea, or just how her cabins are laid out. Whatever it is, you can almost feel it in your loins when you look at certain boats. Anyone who loves running boats, building them; just being on them knows exactly what I am talking about. One boat that really has always done it for me in the looks department is the former Ethel Tibbetts of Boston Fuel & Transportation. She is just the classic single screw tug, sweeping sheer, high wheelhouse, and just a business like look about her. One of my all-time favorite tugboats. Great Boats will be an ongoing series, so stay tuned!
