A couple good minutes

Since I have been lagging in the photo’s off the week department we can call this post a little bit of catching up. Every day you have a couple really good minutes of light, at sunrise and sunset, and it generally has me rushing around getting angles and changing lenses. Trying to squeeze out every really good shot I can. If you haven’t caught on yet, I really prefer the periods of dramatic light, lots of contrast, huge color saturation. Throw in a touch of Lightroom editing, or not depending on the mood, and I do sometimes get some great shots. Today at sunset we had some really great light, a very good couple of minutes. Not as good as the first phone call to the therapist fiancĂ© in 7 days, that was todays real highlight, but good enough to post on Facebook. Then again I didn’t take them with my iPhone and run them through an Instagram filter so they might be shit!

Thanks to the Joshua Chouest for topping around and getting just in line for these first few shots.
