Merry Christmas from the Baroid dock at the mouth of the Halliburton slip. We left the rig around 2100 last night and I awoke to the best christmas present ever, being in for crew change tomorrow! It was a rough couple days offshore and it is nice to finally relax a little after all the running we have done this hitch. Now we just have to pump off some the mud we have onboard, get some fuel, some water, and wait for that crew change van to arrive. Even better sight than Santa himself. If I could speak directly to the big jolly fellow though, I would have to give up on of my future christmas wishes to get those guys at Gulfmark their own dock. 30 minutes of waiting in 25-30kts of breeze at the mouth of the busiest slip in Fourchon was slightly less fun than opening presents this morning.
