Well as I write this I am at 39,000 ft onboard a Southwest Airlines 737, and boy it feels good to be headed home. For no reason in particular in was a long hitch and I am certainly feeling it. In the last week and a half we made 5 runs including a last minute run to DD1 and Shenzi with groceries in some wonderful GOM winter weather. 30 knots and 10 ft out of the north east.
That’s all behind me and falling father astern at around 500kts according to my inflight information display. It will be good to be home for thanksgiving, and spend some quality time with family, friends, and the lovely lady in my life.
Here are two pictures from Shenzi Monday night. The first one is up close and personal
This second phot is while we were pulling away, it was definitely a nautical night.

Welcome home. Have a great Thanksgiving!
